Halloween S'mores Bar

  • 1 cup flour

  • 1/3 cup oats

  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp baking powder, optional (seeing as I forgot it myself and it came out just fine!)

  • 1 large egg

  • 1 stick butter, melted

  • 3/4 cup brown sugar

  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips

  • 12 large marshmallows

  • Black icing pen or food coloring pen

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees

  2. In a medium bowl combine flour, oats, salt, baking powder and graham crackers.

  3. In a large bowl, using a hand mixer, cream together butter and sugar.

  4. Mix in egg.

  5. Add flour mix and stir with spatula.

  6. Place blondies into an 8x8 pan lined with parchment paper.

  7. Bake blondies for 18-20 mins or until golden brown.

  8. Remove from oven and place on cooling rack.

  9. Sprinkle chocolate chips over blondies. Using a spatula, evenly distribute.

  10. Top with marshmallows 4 x 3.

  11. Place under broiler on 425 degrees.

  12. Brown marshmallows then removed. *Be sure to keep an eye on it you don’t want it to burn

  13. Decorate the tops of marshmallows with black icing.

Notes/Quick Tips:


  • You can use any kinds of chocolate chips for this even butterscotch!

  • You could mix the blondies recipe with brownie mix. Just follow each mixture directions or you can half each recipe.

  • If you don’t have large marshmallows, you can use smaller ones or even marshmallow fluff.
