Honey Mustard Chicken



Ingredients:

  • 3lbs chicken, cut into pieces

  • 3 tsp garlic, minced

  • 1/2 cup honey

  • 6 tbsp mustard (dijon, whole grain or mixed)

  • 4 green onions, chopped

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • Salt & Pepper to taste

Preparation:

  1. Sprinkle chicken pieces with salt & pepper.

  2. Heat a large sauce pan on medium high heat, add oil and butter.

  3. Add chicken to pan and cook until no longer pink. Cook in 2 batches. *Internal temp should be 165 degrees.

  4. Remove chicken from pan. Add garlic and cook for 1 min.

  5. Add honey, mustard and green onion. Whisk to incorporate sauce. Cook for a few minutes.

  6. Place chicken back in with the sauce.

  7. Serve with rice and Enjoy!

Tips:

  • If you would like to add a little spice, add a Thai chili, jalapeño or red pepper.

  • You can adjust the honey and mustard ratio depending on your preference.
