Ingredients:
3lbs chicken, cut into pieces
3 tsp garlic, minced
1/2 cup honey
6 tbsp mustard (dijon, whole grain or mixed)
4 green onions, chopped
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp olive oil
Salt & Pepper to taste
Preparation:
Sprinkle chicken pieces with salt & pepper.
Heat a large sauce pan on medium high heat, add oil and butter.
Add chicken to pan and cook until no longer pink. Cook in 2 batches. *Internal temp should be 165 degrees.
Remove chicken from pan. Add garlic and cook for 1 min.
Add honey, mustard and green onion. Whisk to incorporate sauce. Cook for a few minutes.
Place chicken back in with the sauce.
Serve with rice and Enjoy!
Tips:
If you would like to add a little spice, add a Thai chili, jalapeño or red pepper.
You can adjust the honey and mustard ratio depending on your preference.
