Ingredients:
1 3/4 cups flour
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1 tsp salt
1 1/4 cups buttermilk
1 cup canned pumpkin puree
2 large eggs
1/4 cup butter, melted
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 200 degrees. *You will use this to keep your waffles warm.
Plug in waffle maker.
In a large bowl, combine dry ingredients. Stir to combine. Set aside.
In a second large bowl or 8 cup measuring cup, Add wet ingredients. Stir to combine.
Add dry ingredients to the wet and stir to combine.
Using a 1/2 cup to 1 cup pour mixture onto greased waffle iron. (*depending on how big your waffle iron is)
Cook until golden brown- 3-4 mins (your waffle iron might have a ready light- use that until golden brown)
Place in oven as you go to keep the warm.
Serve immediately topped with maple syrup and butter.

Tips:
Try using flavored butter! Cinnamon butter etc.
Try adding some chocolate chips for a fun added taste or pecans!
