Ingredients:
1.5 Lb - Turkey Tenderloin
1.5 Oz Packet - Sesame Seeds
1-1/2 Tsp - Cumin
1-1/2 Tsp - Lemon Pepper
1/4 Tsp - Salt
1 Each - Egg, lightly beaten
3 TBSP - Olive Oil
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 400º.
Pour sesame seeds in a pan. Turn heat to medium and toast until lightly browned stirring often.
Mix toasted sesame seeds, cumin, lemon pepper and salt together and pour onto a plate.
Dip the turkey loin in the beaten egg, then coat in the sesame seed mixture.
Heat olive oil in a pan over medium high heat and sear the turkey breast on all sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
Remove from pan and place in a glass baking dish.
Place in oven for about 30 minutes until internal temperature is 165º.
Remove from oven and let rest about 5-7 minutes.
Serve and enjoy!
Tips:
Be careful when toasting sesame seeds as they will burn quickly. You'll know they're close to being done when they become fragrant.
Get creative! Can't find turkey tenderloin? Use a pork tenderloin and replace the egg with dijon mustard!
