  • 1 Lb. - Ground Sausage

  • 2 Cups - Shredded Cheddar Cheese

  • 10 Each - Bacon Slices

  • 1/2 Cup - BBQ Sauce

  • Salt & Pepper, to taste

Preparation:

  1. Mix cheddar cheese and ground sausage. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

  2. Stuff mixture into raw manicotti shells.

  3. Wrap each shell with a slice of bacon making sure to completely cover the shell.

  4. Cook at 350º for about 30 minutes until sausage is fully cooked.

  5. Baste tops with BBQ and cook for an additional 5 minutes.

  6. Serve and enjoy!

Tips:

  • For the best flavor, use hot sausage.

  • Sausage links may be cheaper than ground. Save money by getting the links and remove meat from casings.

  • For extra BBQ flavor, omit the salt and pepper and add your favorite BBQ seasoning.

  • Get creative! Don't want to run the oven on a hot day? Cook these on your grill at 300º adjusting cooking times as needed.
