Trail Mix



Ingredients:

  • 3 cups lightly salted almonds

  • 1 1/2 cups dry roasted, lightly salted peanuts

  • 1 1/2 cups lightly salted pumpkin seeds

  • 1 1/2 cups dried cranberries

  • 1 1/2 cups raw cashews

  • 1 1/2 cups dark chocolate M&Ms

  • 1 1/2 cups raw pecan pieces

Preparation:

  1. Add all ingredients to a large bowl and mix.

  2. Store in airtight container with lid. Glass works best.


Tips:

  • The trick is to create a mix that isn’t too salty but has great flavor.

  • You can make a tropical mix- dried pineapple, dark chocolate banana chips (or regular), pumpkin seeds, cashews, pecans and raisins. *might want to keep in the fridge

  • Kid version- Cheerios, pecans, dry roasted peanuts, M&Ms, raisins and pretzel pieces.
